Traditional Kobudo Kuwa specially designed and handcrafted to meet the rigorous needs of traditional kobudo training with contact. The main difference between the Bushikan Kuwa and other brands is the Bushikan Kuwa has been designed, tested and approved by a long time practitioner of the traditional martial arts.

Kuwa is a very particular weapon from Matayoshi Kobudo and it is one of the traditional kobudo weapons that has its origins in agricultural activities as it was a hoe. The Kuwa has two different sections; the handle that resemble a short Bo to be used to execute similar techniques to the Bo, and the blade section that due to the form can be used to execute cutting techniques as well as thrusting techniques.
